YOUNGLIFE STUDENT MINISTRIES

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

1 Timothy 4:12, NIV

A place for middle school & high school students to find their place! We hang out, worship, and learn how to live a God-centered life as a teenager. Come for the fun and stay because we're family!

Doors open at 5:30 PM

Gym & Cafe

Service starts at 6:30 PM

Located in the Chapel

What to expect?

We like to keep things fresh and fun here, so on most Wednesday nights, we spend time in worship led by a mix of students and youth leaders, play group games and activities, and hear a message from God's Word. A couple times a year, we'll have a guest speaker come in and talk about topics such as reaching your friends for Christ, relationships, and God's take on cultural issues.

Small Groups

Every 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month, we have small groups - one for guys and one for girls - led by small group leaders on different characters from the Bible - Ruth, Joshua, Paul, and more.

Sunday group

Next Steps is a place for 6th-9th graders to learn to be hearers of God's Word and develop their own quiet time with God. You'll read God's Word, talk about it with the rest of the group, and learn to apply it!

Next Steps meets every Sunday after worship in the 10am service in Room 108 (Fireside Room) on the lower level.

We value generosity

Speed+the+Light+Background.jpeg

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21, ESV)

We give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. Speed the Light (STL) engages, teaches, and disciples our youth in God’s mission to reach the lost! This is accomplished by creating a heart of missional generosity in students for the world's needs and our missionaries' needs. Students are challenged to sacrificially give to missions, reach the lost in their own area, and pray for missionaries around the globe. Funds raised through STL go to help missionaries travel faster, preach clearer, and be heard louder in order for all to know Jesus.

Speed the Light is about

essential transportation,

creative communication,

and compassionate demonstration.
