Next Steps
Whether you are new to our church or to the family of God, we want you to grow in your faith in Christ as well as grow in relationships with others here at the church. Below are several important next steps for you to take as you grow as a believer in Jesus Christ.
Water Baptism
The Bible teaches us that baptism by immersion in water is for every believer to make an outward declaration of an inward decision. By getting baptized in water, you declare to the world that you have died with Christ and that you also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

Next Baptism: April 25th in both services

Who can get baptized?
Baptism is for anyone who has been born again in Jesus Christ by putting their faith and trust in the one true God. There is not an age limit, but if your child is under 12 years, you will need to talk with Pastor Jay before proceeding to ensure they are ready.

What do I need to do?
1) Sign up online here or in the lobby at the church.
2) Pick up a packet at the sign-up table in the lobby & complete the attached Bible study & fill out the form with your info. Return the forms at the baptism class on April 18th.
3) Attend the Baptism Class on Sunday, April 18th in the chapel led by our pastors.

New Members Class

Becoming a member is taking the next step in committing to your local church. Church membership is important to growing and strengthening the church; it's a step to saying "yes, I'm all in." Faithfulness, prayer, participation, and assisting in key decisions affecting the future of the church all contribute to the advance of the local church accomplishing Kingdom purposes. You do not have to be a member of Evangel to attend our church & participate with Bible studies, ministries, and activities, but we encourage everyone to consider becoming a member.

Next Membership Class: May 2nd at 6 PM in the Chapel

What do I need to do?

2) We will be covering a few lessons from our discipleship book
The Purple Book. You can pick up a copy of the book and a New Members packet in the lobby. Complete it at home, and we will go over the content at the New Members Class.
